I have seen. Now I know.
Now I must act.
the Montana Dental Outreach team
We are the Montana Dental Outreach Team based out of Sheridan, Montana. We are a non-profit organization that supplies dentistry to children and adults living in poverty, free of charge. We are non discriminatory towards race, sex, gender, age or religion.
The primary mission of Montana Dental Outreach is to provide college students with the opportunity to be of service to those most in need. ““I Have Seen. Now I know. Now I Must Act.” We seek to foster and discover the joy of helping, giving, and sharing with those in need. Through volunteering and serving, we can find meaning in our lives.
We are privileged: living in the United States, opportunities for education, and many freedoms we take for granted. Our goal is to use our privileges in service to others. We volunteer to give back; to make the world a better place. Often it is we who receive, our eyes are opened, and our lives are changed forever when we go on service with Montana Dental Outreach Teams.
Mentoring is central to the success of Montana Dental Outreach. True service is not accomplished alone. A changed life is stronger when shared with others who have been changed. Montana dental outreach believes in mentoring. College students and adults are mentored by other team members.
Ultimately, this life changing experience lasts a lifetime with MDOT team members returning to mentor others. Generation to generation see, know and act. We take hold of a vision, a mission, which will live on, changing lives forever –– for the better.
Montana Dental Outreach commits:
- To being a true and genuine help for others humans in need, to bringing real hope and to making a difference in people’s lives.
- To provide free quality dental care to people who are in need.
- To provide students with the opportunity to help children, youth, elderly, homeless people, single mothers, and in general less fortunate human beings.
- To offer you the chance to improve your understanding of different cultures and languages!
Warmly,
Dr. Robert Thomas Bartoletti, Founder of the Montana Dental Outreach Teams
