the Montana Dental Outreach team
We are the Montana Dental Outreach Team (MDOT) based out of Sheridan, Montana. We are a non-profit organization that supplies free dental care for those in need. We are non-discriminatory towards race, sex, gender, age, or religion. MDOT is a humanitarian aid group that has worked for the last ten years in Eastern Europe, Central and South America, and Haiti.
MDOT provides college students with a service opportunity by working with those in abject poverty. The students are in turn mentored by adults and aid workers who have previously experienced the dental missions. “I have seen. Now I know. Now I must act.” This is the hope of the immersion dental mission trips as we seek to foster and discover the job of helping, giving, and sharing. By serving others, we can find meaning in our own lives.
We are privileged living in the United States as the opportunities for education and various freedoms are taken for granted. With MDOT, we strive to use our privilege in service to others as we volunteer to give back, attempting to make the world a better place. However, it is those serve who receive, it is our eyes are that open, and our lives that are changed forever.

- Provide an amazing traveling experience, in an immersive way where a true cultural experience that will leave the soul joyful and fulfilled.
- Maintain well-being, safety, and fun.
- Offer the chance to improve individual understanding of cultures and languages.
